Gravesend is a lively and cosmopolitan neighbourhood of restaurants , pubs and shops and Cafe Taj is proud to be one of the town ’ s leading restaurants . “ We had a clear concept of the image we were trying to achieve – to simulate the stylish and vibrant West End restaurant scene here in Gravesend ,” say the owners . “ We have recreated the ambience and style of a West End restaurant and brought it here to Kent .” Cafe Taj has been established for over 20 years , having previously catered for England in the World Cup in Germany , as well as X Factor , Lee Ryan from Blue and many more .
