CHRISTMAS TURKEY ORDERS OPEN FOR KENTISH KELLY BRONZE TURKEYS !
October may , for some , feel too early to be thinking about Christmas , but for Kent Turkeys , Christmas began back in June when their day-old Kelly Bronze turkeys arrived at the family farm near Biddenden .
Initially kept warm and cosy under heat lamps indoors , once acclimated to life outdoors they are free to roam across 16 acres of Kentish pastures , rich in grass , bugs and fresh countryside air , while being kept in secure tunnels overnight to keep them safe and constantly fed and watered .
Not only does this mean that their birds are raised to the highest welfare and strictest standards , but Kent Turkeys ’ birds also boast an unrivalled taste .
hatching the turkeys in their natural season and allowing them to grow slowly and to full maturity , in hand with being free range , the turkeys lay down a natural layer of fat . When cooked , this runs through the meat , creating a moist and easy to carve turkey with beautifully textured meat , which is packed full of flavour and with a delicious natural gravy too .”
Supplied with full cooking instructions and complimentary thermometer , they are a breeze to cook too , taking less time than a traditional turkey . Orders are now open for whole turkeys , crowns and breast roasts , as well as legs , thighs , wings , sausages , mince , and pies , with collection points across Kent including from Woolpack Corner Farm itself .
