Everything is taken care of at one of their festive dining events , with the perfect pairing of a delicious three-course menu and live entertainment . Starting with a Christmas Murder Mystery , where you collect the clues , interrogate the suspects , and catch the Candy Cane Killer in their 1920 ’ s themed classic comedy whodunit . For music lovers , there are dining events with live performances from some of the UKs finest tributes to Michael Bublé , Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and the Rat Pack . You are guaranteed a feast of your favourite hits and evening events are completed with a DJ set . The Orchard Theatre ’ s dining events run from Monday 4 to Thursday 7 December .
Those looking to kick-start the season early will not be disappointed by the range of on-stage entertainment . On Friday 10 November is firm favourite That ’ ll Be The Day Christmas Special . This music variety show takes you on a seasonal , nostalgic sleigh ride through the golden age of rock ‘ n ’ roll and pop , combined with hilarious comedy sketches and world-class performances .
On Sunday 19 November there is the ultimate feel-good Irish-inspired Christmas show , Fairytale of New York which brings you well known Christmas songs including ‘ Driving Home For Christmas ’, ‘ White Christmas ’, ‘ Oh Holy Night ’, ‘ Winter ’ s Tale ’, ‘ Silent Night ’ and of course ‘ The Fairytale of New York ’. The show also features some of the greatest Irish sing-a-long songs of all time including ‘ The Galway Girl ’, ‘ The Irish Rover ’, ‘ Danny Boy ’, ‘ Dirty Old Town ’ and ‘ The Black Velvet Band ’ this magical Irish-inspired Christmas show will have people of all ages singing , laughing and dancing in the aisles .
And it wouldn ’ t be Christmas without the tradition of pantomime . The Orchard Theatre ’ s panto is an annual family favourite and this year ’ s Beauty and The Beast promises to be as magical as ever .
Soap star , actress and singer Shona McGarty leads the cast of the Orchard Theatre ’ s spectacular and enchanting family pantomime as Belle .
Dreaming of a happier life , Belle finds herself transported to a cursed castle and held captive by a terrifying beast . To her surprise , the castle is full of magical characters placed under a spell by an evil enchantress . Can Belle see beyond the monster and fall in love with her captor before the last petal falls from the enchanted rose ? Or will the Beast ’ s selfishness cost him the world he once knew and the hand of the girl who has melted his heart ? Find out in this magical pantomime adventure .
