Biddenden Tractorfest is returning to Holden Farm for its ninth year . While tractors remain the main point of attraction to visitors , the foundation of Tractorfest is to provide a nostalgic summer day out at the countryside fair with all of the smells , sights and sounds that remind you of childhood . Run entirely by volunteers , the event aims to be affordable for the whole family while also raising charity funds and supporting local crafts and businesses . If tractors aren ’ t your thing , there is live music , children ’ s entertainment , animals , craft workshops and so much for all to enjoy . If that ’ s not enough to entice you , maybe the passing smell of doughnuts will !

The Herne Bay Jazz and Swing Festival is a completely non-profit event , bringing the best of jazz and swing music around the UK with the scenic backdrop of the beach . Not only is the top range music free but creative workshops for both children and adults are free to explore and get imaginative . All you need to bring is yourself and your dance moves !

This two-day experience will take you on an expedition through historic areas , passing pagan , Roman and Christian sites all with deep rooted tales and mystery . Each day will be spent travelling for around 11 miles in which you won ’ t grow tired of the breathtaking views of The Garden of England , watching the sunset over the countryside , exploring ancient churches and ruins , and walking down thousand-year-old trails . There will be plenty of stops to take in the beauty and to eat and drink during the journey , which will be at a pace comfortable for all adventurers .

This return of a fantastic celebration of the forties promises to be bigger and better than ever before ! There ’ s something for everyone , with re-enactors and military vehicles , trade stalls , arts and crafts , and 1940 ’ s fashion , music and song . A static Spitfire and UH-1 Huey helicopter are among the attractions , while a licensed bar and food stalls will provide a range of refreshments . There ' s live music from HULLABALOO on the Saturday night and a whole host of children ' s activities including Gel Master , Scotty ' s Circus Workshop and a miniature steam train ! A licensed bar , street food and re-enactment groups will make this a fantastic weekend of ‘ 40 ’ s fun , food and fizz .
