Herne Bay Seafront
Starting at The Kings Hall , this seaside route is a one-mile traffic-free route upon which runners can make the most of the sea air and ocean views . It will take runners along wide compact pathways alongside the sea wall and is also great for walkers and cyclists . The sea can wash up pebbles onto the pathway but aside from this , it is suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs too thanks to it being flat and wide . The route has a half-mile sign to mark the point at which to turn around if wanting to do so , but for those wanting to see more of what this oceanside route offers , a longer unsigned route continues after this marker , which itself forms part of the Oyster Bay Trail . Expect serene ocean views and on sunny days , happy holidaymakers making the most of the pebble beach and paddling in the sea .
