A fabulous lineup has just been announced : concerts from the award-winning saxophonist , Jess Gillam and her ensemble , the very entertaining ‘ Counterfeit Stones ’ for a bit of rock ‘ n ’ roll and Ronnie Scott ’ s favourite ‘ Ray Gelato and the Giants ’, plus a day of singing workshops with the dynamic choirmaster Mark De-Lisser . Along with workshops and events for pupils , it looks set to be another dazzling week of entertainment .

Best known for his operas , Giuseppe Verdi wrote his Requiem towards the latter part of his working life , building on the development of his operatic writing but continuing to show new development in conveying drama and emotion . This concert is a special collaboration between the Sevenoaks Philharmonic Choir and the Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra performed at The Stag Theatre as part of the Sevenoaks Summer Festival .
