OPENING ITS SLEEK DOORS JUST A MATTER OF MONTHS AGO , BRANDED ’ S BEAUTIFUL BROMLEY SETTING , HOUSED IN THE ARCHITECTURAL WONDER OF THE LONDON SUBURB ’ S FORMER POST OFFICE , HERALDS THE LATEST ADDITION TO THE KENT-BASED STEAKHOUSE AND BRASSERIE TRILOGY THAT ’ S TAKEN THE NORTH OF THE COUNTY BY STORM . Recognising a gap in the market for stylish , steakled dining in the Kent / London neighbourhood of Beckenham , restaurateur Reis Remzi pioneered an approach to affordable , sophisticated and stylish dining in the BR postcode . 18 months later came a new opening in Sevenoaks , followed by the reincarnation of Bromley ’ s Bird & Bun to another Branded outpost at the start of 2023 . Greeted by the laidback and smiling Reis , it was hard to believe that it had been five years since insideKENT visited the Sevenoaks restaurant , but the pride at how successful his endeavours have been was evident . “ It ’ s been really good ,” he said . “ It ’ s been great to welcome both existing customers who would have travelled to Beckenham previously , as well as a whole host of new diners who have loved the concept .”
And that is the key thing . Dining at Branded is not just about experiencing the tried-and-tested menu that has kept diners flooding through the doors through pandemics , lockdowns and economic downturns , it ’ s a whole concept of good dishes combined with sleek modern interiors , great playlists and clever dining room layouts .
Much like its approach to the dining experience , the finish at Branded Bromley is stylish and sleek , yet while aesthetically hitting the mark , the laid back yet efficient approach of the front of house team creates a welcoming , unpretentious atmosphere perfect for date night dining and celebratory groups , the latter of which were evident in dining delight across the multi-zoned dining room .
Led through the dining room by welcoming restaurant manager Nino , we were surprised to find that the restaurant can easily seat upwards of 100 diners , the layout however creating smaller subsections of spaces with cosy booths and tables for two or four , which can be easily pushed together to accommodate celebratory groups ; a mainstay of diners here . “ It means that the space always has an atmosphere and feels busy , even at quieter times .” Which is , frankly , genius .
