Featuring a range of styles including music , drama , comedy , opera , dance , visual arts and more , as well as performers of all ages , established or upand-coming - all set in an eclectic selection of venues .

Planning to display another outstanding array of talent to mark the event ' s 10-year anniversary is the recognised JAM on the Marsh Festival . Look forward to superb music , outdoor theatre , poetry and exhibitions , all while admiring the stunning backdrop of the medieval churches of Romney Marsh . An exciting lineup for this year includes music from the Joe Stilgoe Trio , opening act Changeling Theatre with Shakespeare ’ s Love ’ s Labour ’ s Lost , a photography exhibition from Wendy Carrig and lots more . Not only a yearly event , JAM also runs an inspiring arts education programme championing the young people of the arts .

Coming up to almost a century of celebrations of the very best the county has to offer , The Kent County Show established in 1923 by the Kent County Agricultural Society is a spectacular showcase of all aspects of farming , agriculture and rural life . Set in the famous Detling Showground , displaying a selection of vintage vehicles , quality farming , local retail businesses and not forgetting all the Kentish produce you could imagine , from sweet treats like ice cream and fudge to the finest takeaways and artisan cheese .
