What needs to be considered when installing a bespoke kitchen ?
The design process plans for a seamless installation ; and clients see their rendered designs before the kitchens are made . It is important that the kitchen is fitted into a fully finished room : all electrical and plumbing work completed , range ovens in place and connected , plastered and painted walls , flooring finished – from wall to wall . Ventilation is an area that needs to be considered before the room is finished : there may be only one external wall and if the extractor needs to be vented instead of using a recirculating kit , it will have to go there .
The kitchen cabinetry is the final part of a kitchen installation .

Planning is especially important in a period home , like this one , where walls and floors are sometimes not in sync , and we know there always must be room for movement and adjustments .
The kitchen installation happens last , usually , once the room is finished . Of course , this can be tricky for Collins Bespoke ’ s installers : fitting bespoke cabinetry to newly painted walls and on newly tiled floors requires a lot of carefulness . However , installation teams are experienced and professional . And , if a mishap does happen , they are trained and skilled craftsmen , so can always fix it .
