The latest incarnation of the stunning building opened in April 2019 , following a mammoth £ 57 million , seven-month renovation of the entire hotel . I had the privilege of checking into The Wallace , one of the hotel ’ s acclaimed Presidential Suites ; situated not only to take full advantage of the Hyde Park views beyond , but also of a generous floor plan which boasts a large lounge with complimentary minibar , marble bathroom with shower and bath , and glorious king-size bed , as well as showcasing statement windows , balconies , fireplaces and impeccable décor .
