Which is why it ’ s so important to let loose and have fun – as often as you can . Whether that ’ s putting on your favorite music and dancing around the kitchen , playing a game with your kids or grandkids , making more time to immerse yourself in a good book , going for a hike and getting out in nature , or organising more nights out , give yourself that chance to get out of your own head , and you just might find you ’ re falling in love with the new , more spontaneous you .

To find your purpose , you need to be honest with yourself . What are you most excited about in your life ? What brings you joy ? Once you uncover meaning in your life , you ’ ll start to see the bigger picture – and stop criticising the smaller things .
Do something you ’ re good at
Remember : you are talented , capable and brilliant . Do you play an instrument , write short stories or grow the best tomatoes at the allotment ? Doing something you ’ re good at and appreciating your own skills reinforces your confidence and also helps reignite hobbies that you may have not been making time for .
