Brimming with passion , fun-loving spirit and an inordinate amount of energy , Bella Beeler found herself contemplating how to reuse empty wine bottles in the summer of 2021 . Combining her passion for crafting and delicious smelling candles , she decided to put her creative flair to the test and produced what turned out to be the start of her bestselling business : Candle Wise . Having been a roaring success from the very start , in 2022 Bella made the decision to jump into small business life by quitting her day job , and she now spends her days using her travels as inspiration for upcoming scents . When we asked Bella what her plans were for the upcoming year she said : “ 2023 will be the year to expand the Candle Wise brand and creations , and concentrate on online and retail sales .” As far as what she loves about her new life as a business owner , it ’ s hard to choose . From the endless opportunities for creativity , to interacting with new and recurring customers , it ’ s clear that each day is a new and exciting adventure for Bella . As for her advice for budding business owners ? “ Always follow your dreams , nothing is impossible . It can be hard but it ’ s worth it .”

A foodie from birth , most of Jade Hadlow ’ s childhood memories revolve around her family and a whole lot of delicious food . In her early twenties , Jade found herself spending time drooling over stunning charcuterie boards on Pinterest , but never had the confidence to start her own business until the Covid pandemic hit . It was then that the lightning bolt of determination hit her , and after months of preparation and research she launched The Kentish Graze . Now celebrating its first birthday , The Kentish Graze has gone from strength to strength , and with a huge focus on local seasonal produce and sustainability it ’ s not hard to see why . With the new year right around the corner Jade intends to build on her business ’ s already stellar reputation , and become a well-known supplier of delectable grazing platters across Kent and London . “ Feeding people and getting feedback that not only did they enjoy it but that you made their day special is one of the best feelings ,” said Jade when she spoke to us . It ' s clear to see that Jade has found her true love in The Kentish Graze , and with her passion brimming over , it looks like 2023 is going to be an exciting year for grazing lovers everywhere .

Growing up in the Republic of Benin in West Africa meant that Thibaut Laourou always had tasty peanut snacks on hand to satisfy his cravings . But after moving to the UK , no matter where he searched it seemed the only things on offer were roasted peanuts or peanut butter . Not one to sit idly , Thibaut began market research and product development , eventually founding his family run business , Nuttyogoo - a healthy peanut snack company that is providing the UK with delicious peanut crackers and peanut oil made from only the very best ingredients . With goals to one day make his snack crackers accessible to everyone through major retailers , it seems that his ambition isn ’ t too far off becoming a reality , having recently become a part of the Thrive with Sainsbury ’ s program . When we asked Thibaut what this 16-week mentorship meant to him he said simply : “ It ' s a dream come true to me .” Now Nuttyogoo is on its way to being a global brand we asked Thibaut if he had any words of wisdom for other entrepreneurs and he answered : “ Once you start your business never give up , success isn ’ t necessarily for people who are clever , but for people who persevere .”
