They work with companies who source products in an environmentally friendly way and suppliers who use minimal packaging . They have also significantly reduced the amount of single-use items on sale that can ’ t be recycled or reused . Look out for their planet-positive or greenbee signage in-store .

Locally grown Christmas trees
Not only are Millbrook ’ s Christmas trees premium grade , their Nordmann Firs only travel 10 miles to get to them . Sown as seeds 10 years ago at a sustainable nursery in Ashford , they are then planted as a three-year-old sapling on the Hole Park Estate , carefully nurtured for up to 10 more years and subtly managed to produce the highest quality trees of the best shape . They ’ re harvested at the last possible moment , then delivered fresh to Millbrook ’ s door .

Christmas is all about friends and family , so why not get together in one of Millbrook ’ s spacious restaurants ? Catch up or finalise festive plans over a hearty home-cooked breakfast , lunch , teatime treat or afternoon tea made ( where possible ) using local ingredients in their own kitchens .
