Watch and listen as Halloween performers share eerie stories , join in fancy dress competitions , embark on the pumpkin trail , complete the Halloween activity booklet and take lots of family portraits at the Instagrammable Halloween frame .

Myths , legends and monsters of English folklore await you at Dover Castle this half term . Follow Dennis , Gnasher and friends to solve creepy clues on the fun family quest around the grounds . The ghoulish guide will tell tales of ghostly goings-on throughout history ; try your hand at becoming a monster hunter with the range of hands-on training activities and meet the comedy castle rat who will entertain you with stories and songs of his explorations of the castle . Don ' t miss the fantastical dragon and grim reaper puppets prowling around the keep yard and watch in awe as the shadow puppet theatre creates magical shapes in the darkness .

Each family will have their own table and tools to prepare food to cook over fire using a range of techniques . Once the session is complete you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful setting at Belmont .
