The newest scent to Molton Brown ’ s fragrance portfolio – Rose Dunes is an ode to the mysterious beauty of the Arabian Desert . Comprising an eau de toilette , eau de parfum , bath & shower gel and body lotion , the collection was created by senior perfumer , Philippe Paparella-Paris who was inspired by his upbringing with his grandmother and many years living in Dubai .
Rose Dunes eau de toilette opens with tart cassis at the top ; green , spicy notes from pepper and geranium lend a natural freshness to the floral bouquet and to contrast , an earthy-mossy base is deepened by patchouli Sulawesi and pulses of resinous amber . The eau de parfum is a deeper , woodier , leathery interpretation with an overdose of patchouli for more depth and darkness , while an addictive oudh accord awaits in the lingering base of sandalwood , musk and vetiver . The bath & shower gel and body lotion will capture the same overall notes : woody , ambery and floral .
The patchouli is sustainably sourced from Sulawesi in Indonesia for its intensity and high quality and the rose oil is harvested in the region known as The Rose Valley in Bulgaria , reaffirming Molton Brown ’ s commitments to only working with sustainably sourced ingredients while still being a 100 % cruelty free and vegan brand .
