ALBION HOUSE RAMSGATE LAUNCHES BRAND NEW COCKTAIL MENU ‘ A LOVE LETTER TO RAMSGATE ’
Ramsgate ’ s acclaimed hotel which has unique connections to British royalty , once hosting a young Queen Victoria in a room that guests can now stay in , has launched a brand new bespoke cocktail menu . The menu includes a selection of unique concoctions named after some favourite locations in the seaside town . With a drink to suit all tastes while honouring Ramsgate ’ s past and present , diners at The Dining Rooms can enjoy everything from the West Cliff Side Car consisting of Cognac , Cointreau , lemon and sugar - straight up , coupette ; to the East Cliff Daiquiri , - Hemingway ’ s favourite tipple , with Havana Club Especial , fresh lime and grapefruit . Premium cocktails are also available on the menu , priced from £ 12 to £ 18 , the Sweet Manhattan is the most expensive on the menu and will be mixed by the expert mixologists from Four Roses Single Barrel , Martini Rosso and Angostura .
JERK N ’ TINGZ DOVER ANNOUNCES NEW OPENING AT ST JAMES ' S RETAIL PARK
Authentic Jamaican takeaway Jerk n ’ Tingz has announced that they will soon be opening a second dine-in only restaurant in Dover at St James ’ Retail Park . The original premises on London Road will remain open for all deliveries and collections . Speaking on social media , Jerk n ’ Tingz said : “ We are all so excited to finally announce we are moving ! This explains why we have been a little quiet and very inconsistent with opening . Thank you to all our loyal customers who have stuck by us , without you this move wouldn ’ t be possible .” While an official open date hasn ’ t been confirmed , their menu will remain a mix of traditional and new recipes including homemade flavourful sauces and 48-hour marinated meats cooked on a barrel drum BBQ .
CHUCK & BLADE OPENS IN TUNBRIDGE WELLS
The third site of funky Kent burger favourites , Chuck & Blade , opened on Camden Road , Tunbridge Wells last month complete with their signature style . The burger group , which already has popular sites in Rochester and Canterbury , announced the opening on Thursday 11 August on their social media pages . Picturing their delicious burgers , Chuck & Blade ’ s Instagram - @ chuckandbladeburgers - shared some insight into the menu available at the West Kent venue , which includes dirty burgers , filthy fries , creamy shakes , craft beer , cocktails and casual dining at its best .
