SEASONALSPECIAL
TRINITY THEATRE
SEASONAL SNEAK PEEKS
THIS CHRISTMAS , TRINITY THEATRE HAS PULLED TOGETHER A WINTER SHOWCASE THAT IS TRULY OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD , OF ADVENTUROUS PROPORTIONS , AND SOME WOULD SAY EVEN MIRACULOUS IN ITS CELEBRATORY ENDEAVOURS !
Armed to the teeth with wit , wonder and zany happenings , the THREE Christmas shows promise to deliver family fun for all and at pursepleasing prices .
Opening with The New Musketeers on 14th December , Trinity Theatre tells the unknown , possibly , newly written comedy tale set in the world of the Three Musketeers . On a routine mission across the channel , the three are lost in a shipwreck ! Their servants , left with no masters and a critical operation to complete , jump into action . Will they fool the king ? Will they save the day ? Will they even work out which end of the sword to use ? The New Musketeers features brilliant music , terrible sword fighting and magical production designs from Tony Award ® winning set designer Nigel Hook .
Swashbuckling switches to snowfall and nostalgia worthy of a fizzy drink commercial , with Miracle on 34th Street , the live musical radio play ! When does this magical moment start ? On 20th December , when the Macy ' s department store Santa Claus in New York claims to be the real thing . Everyone assumes he is just mad , but a lawyer and a little girl believe , and they will do whatever it takes to prove he is telling the truth . Watch in awe as seven actors perform every character while sound effects are produced live in front of your eyes , and one of the most incredible Christmas tales ever written unfolds .
Taking its place in the universe and our hearts , the brilliantly bonkers The Aliens Who Saved Christmas blasts into orbit on 16th December at 11am ; this fast-paced family funfest is a joy from start to finish ! It is Christmas Eve on the planet Slurp when friendly aliens Sniff and Splat accidentally receive an urgent radio message from Santa ' s elves calling upon the extra-terrestrial pals ( in error ) to help get the presents ready in time for 25th December . The SOS was actually meant for the Queen of England ! This realisation doesn ' t stop the Slurpers in their hapless but well-meaning mission . The BIG question is , can the children in the audience help them succeed ? You ' ve got to get your hands on a ticket to help out ...
Trinity Theatre really does deliver the Christmas memory-making business with this confectionary box take on the family show tradition . So perhaps it ' s time to take a wintery trip to Trinity and make it one of yours ?
