HEAVENLY FITNESS STUDIOS

What would you say is the most exciting thing about learning aerial fitness ?
The feeling of achievement when you do something you previously thought was beyond you . I love seeing the huge smiles during class . Aerial is also great for group bonding and making friends . A room of strangers all rooting for each other and encouraging in a way that just doesn ' t happen in other classes .
Which different abilities are welcomed at Heavenly Fitness Studios ?
We welcome people of all abilities . I love beginners ; it is amazing to see them flourish in class and grow in confidence , ability and strength .
What are the different activities you offer ?
Our first unique class was aerial yoga . We were the first studio in Kent to offer it over 10 years ago , and I still love it now . Aerial yoga has evolved and we also now offer aerial sling , which uses a soft fabric hammock like a swing which is a great mix of stretching , decompression for the spin , strength and conditioning and very cool flips and tricks . This is an all level class and you will be amazed at what a new beginner can achieve in their first class . We also have aerial hoop , several pole classes , silks and static trapeze and offer kids classes as well as adults . Bungee
fitness is our latest unique class that we brought to Kent in 2018 .
Have you got any particularly impressive success stories you could tell us about ?
I have so many success stories from my time here at Heavenly . I could talk about weight loss , confidence building , body shapes changing and all of these things would apply to many of my clients but the story I am going to talk about is a class success . Some of my aerial yoga ladies are a little bit older . When they started they had very little upper body strength and were not confident in their ability . Over the years they have built so much strength . I love seeing their progress and it is particularly fun when someone new comes into class and is blown away by what this room of ‘ older ladies ’ can do . It makes me so proud watching them lift themselves .
Why should people get into aerial fitness this September ?
Start something new . Something fun that you may stick with and see the benefits . Meet like minded people that will be supportive in classes . You don ' t have to be fit to start , the classes are tailored to get you where you need to be . We offer a £ 30 trial offer for three pole or aerial classes so you can try out a few classes and see what you like .
HEAVENLY FITNESS STUDIOS ’ TOP TIPS :
• For hoop and fabric classes you would want your legs covered . No jewellery or zips as they damage the fabric .
• Expect to be a bit sore after class for a couple of days and know that that is ok . You will be using lots of muscles that you don ' t usually use , so yes they are going to hurt afterwards .
• Take pictures in class so you can see your progress . We usually have time at the end of class to take a few pics of what we have done during class .
• Get to the class on time and do the warm up and always stay until the end for the stretch .
• Try a few different classes to see which ones you prefer . Aerial hoop is very different to aerial silk , or aerial yoga . You may love one and not like the other so much .
