CHAPEL DOWN PARTNER WITH KENT CRICKET
In further testament to its commitment to support the much-cherished English sport , both at national and regional level , Chapel Down ’ s new partnership with home county Kent Cricket is proudly launching during the 170th Canterbury Cricket Week , the oldest surviving cricket festival in the world . The partnership will also see its award-winning sparkling and still wines served across main bars and hospitality areas and will be supported by advertising within the Canterbury grounds . PEDALER ON THE PORT OPENS AT DOVER MARINA
After closing its much-loved doors for the last time in June , the Independent Pedaler has moved out of its old premises near Bridge and has now relocated to Dover ’ s iconic marina . Complete with a new name , Pedaler on the Port now also calls the 1893 lifeboat house on Clock Tower Square home . The historic building is perfect for providing a relaxed environment which offers local produce , quality coffee and a community space to meet , eat and drink . Focusing on quality coffee and food made from scratch , The Independent Pedaler brand was originally established five years ago by Aaron Hudson-Tyreman who wanted somewhere to meet and discuss bike racing with his friends . As they embark on this new adventure , community remains just as important to The Independent Pedaler , who also work on projects with local schools and charities .
