The hire spaces are white minimalist rooms with high ceilings , natural concrete floors and huge windows to take in the panoramic seascape ; plenty of scope for decoration , but very little is needed to create a stylish and impactful event . A fashionable choice for weddings , Turner Contemporary offers a stylish and unique venue for a memorable day with plenty of wonderful photo opportunities .
Ceremonies take place in one of the upstairs galleries for a fully immersive art experience and the reception starts with canapes and fizz on the terrace followed by the wedding feast in private rooms overlooking the sea . Watch the sunset from the balcony and party until late , long after the gallery has closed . Capacity for 120 people makes it the ideal size for an average wedding .
Renowned local restaurateurs , Barletta , provide delicious and well-conceived menus taking inspiration from the Mediterranean and from British classics with local , seasonal produce . The wine list celebrates a variety of countries and regions with a little something for everyone . Expect tasty canapes and tempting cocktails to add to that special vibe and please everyone .
