What led you to becoming a chef ?
It all started when I was young , my father had a talent for cooking so I was always around it . He enjoyed his hobby so much he decided to buy a restaurant and that sparked my fire .
Where did you train ?
I trained at Fusion Cooking School in Durban , which is one of South Africa ' s top culinary schools .
Where have you worked before ?
Across my 12 years I have worked in a number of restaurants and hotels , and for the past five years of my working career I worked freelance gaining a vast knowledge and experience in different cuisines and techniques . Unlike most chefs , my goal was not to work my way up in a kitchen but to gain knowledge to put into my own concept and work my way up the ladder this way .
