Take a trip to the coast and make the most of this sunny June weather with a visit to NorthDown Brewery in Margate . Brewing award-winning beers with a focus on hop-forward modern ales , NorthDown Brewery produce a variety of beers spanning cask-perfect best bitters , modern hazy pale ales and flavour-forward IPAs . To celebrate Father ’ s Day this June , this seaside brewery have put on their own Dad ’ s Day Tour , which not only includes a special tour of the brewery on which guests will get to see how everything works and learn about the beer brewing process , but also includes beer sampling and a half a pint for dad on the house ! It doesn ’ t just stop at the beer either , Alkham Valley Pizza ( www . avpizzas . com ) have a pop-up at the brewery and will be crafting special Neapolitan pizzas especially for dad too .

An event for all the family with something for every age , Cars at the Castle at Hever Castle on Father ’ s Day weekend invites visitors to discover a wide variety of impressive cars that will be on show in the glorious grounds . Visitors aged 7-14 can explore the Tudor Towers adventure playground with its own moat , drawbridge and three turrets . It features three slides , two poles and lots of interactive elements including musical instruments , a floor maze , and hidden boxes to find . Those under seven can enjoy Acorn Dell , a natural play area with two-metre high living willow structure , a giant sandpit , a mound with tunnels to clamber in and a climbing frame . Other things for families to enjoy include the popular Water Maze , so don ’ t forget to bring a towel ! After all this hungry work , enjoy some family time with a variety of food options finished off with ice cream or a variety of mouth-watering homemade cakes .
