Members of the public will be able to sample a variety of free royal-themed cake from a selection of town centre hospitality businesses , and vote for their favourite . The event will also feature live music from vintage jazz bands , free face painting for children and goodie bag giveaways . The winner will be crowned on the bandstand at 3pm , and will receive the Cake Off glass trophy , specially commissioned by the BID with Monson Road Creative Glass by Claudia .
