BLACK FRAMES
Crittal doors are nothing new in interior design , but 2022 will see the black trend getting bigger and better than ever . Monochrome schemes are sweeping through our interiors , framing the views of the outside world and adding a sense of drama to our spaces . Since black is the new neutral , it creates the ultimate foundation for a beautifully and well balanced design scheme . The contrast between black geometric lines and white walls will energise the space , allowing the natural light to seep through . Play around with the width and height of the frames ; larger segments will look sleek and minimal highlighting the window without stealing other elements from the room , whereas slender , thinner grids will look contemporary and stylish . Use the black frames to pick out other accents in the room ; this will echo the scheme and tie everything together quite nicely . Don ’ t be afraid to mix it up either ; black framed windows can look equally as effective in more classical designs as they ’ re pretty versatile .
