Canterbury Food & Drink Festival // 23-25 September
Canterbury ’ s annual festival of all things food and drink makes a welcome return to the city after a two-year hiatus . Set against the stunning backdrop of Dane John Gardens , Kent ’ s biggest food festival proudly showcases everything to be proud of from the Garden of England , with a smattering of the brightest stars of the modern street food scene from London and beyond .

Tenterden Folk Festival , Tenterden // 29 September-2 October
The annual Tenterden Folk Festival takes place over the weekend of the first Saturday of October . During the four days , watch the historic streets come alive with creativity including barn dances , storytelling , concerts , crafts , live music and dance displays . This year ' s event will see the recreation ground transformed into a crafting haven brimming with a selection of artisan stalls , as well as a mix of events throughout the town ’ s venues . Discover a landmark on the foodie festival calendar at the Broadstairs Food Festival , a festival that supports and celebrates local food and drink producers , with great views over the sea . Canterbury Festival will return for a two-week extravaganza of music , performance , talks , family events , science and more in the heart of Kent .
