Celebrate the 60th anniversary of the launch of HMS OCELOT , the last warship built for the Royal Navy at the Royal Dockyard Chatham . A commemorative event bringing together former submariners and dockyard workers who contributed to the construction , refit and repair of O-Boats . Explore HMS OCELOT , the wider Historic Dockyard site and enjoy other historic ships . Enjoy refreshment at the Commissioner ' s House and the Mess Deck Restaurant . At 3pm , assemble at the dockside for a short ceremony where a plaque will be unveiled to recognise the occasion . This ceremony will be led by the Chairman of Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust , Admiral Sir Trevor Soar KCB OBE DL , who was the Commanding Officer for HMS OCELOT from 1987 – 1990 .

The annual plant fair returns with thousands of plants at great prices . A real highlight of the horticultural calendar . There will be the usual choice of bedding plants , shrubs and herbs as well as tasty veg plants so you can grow your own . All money raised from the event is used to support conservation work at the White Cliffs of Dover .
