ON PIZZA ASHFORD CELEBRATES FIRST BIRTHDAY
After working in pizza for 15 years , owners of On Pizza moved to Ashford from London four years ago and said they ‘ instantly felt at home due to the people of Ashford being so welcoming , kind and having a great sense of community .’ This is why they set up On Pizza , last year during lockdown based in County Square shopping centre . In April , they celebrated one year since opening . ‘ It is our endeavour to be a place of great tasting food , and the best in local hospitality . We are part of our local Ashford community , and so try our best to source many of our ingredients from local businesses , work with local charities and food banks , and create lasting relationships with local companies and places of interest .’
CAFFEINE & FIZZ WELCOME A FIZZY ADDITION
Caffeine & Fizz , the bright pink coffee van which brings locally sourced coffee , cakes , brownies and sourdough sandwiches to the community of Finberry in Ashford has announced a new addition to their moveable drinks fleet .
The Fizzy Flamingo , a fabulously converted Piaggio Ape , serves fizz , beer and cocktails on tap , and , alongside ‘ Frenchie ’, Caffeine & Fizz ’ s restored Citroen HY van , is available for private hire for events , weddings and festivals across the south east .
FUDGE KITCHEN CELEBRATES 39 YEARS IN ITS OWN INIMITABLE STYLE
The Fudge Kitchen team took time off to bring the entire business together for their first ever Fudge Goes Formal event , to celebrate 39 years in confectionery , and in particular the hard work , dedication and strength of the whole Fudge Kitchen team . The company said that , ‘ Every member has played their part in successfully driving the business through the last two challenging years .’ When the pandemic hit in March 2020 , Fudge Kitchen had to immediately shut all shops and saw their turnover plummet . In 2021 with a new focus on e-commerce and the shops back up and running , Fudge Kitchen saw their online business double . MD , Sian Holt , said ‘ It was important to take the time to get the teams together . This year we can collectively applaud our survival and celebrate all that we have achieved .’
