FORAS sits quietly hidden just off Folkestone ’ s famous Steep Street , at the end of Church Street in its Creative Quarter . “ We wanted to be another asset to Folkestone and its creative , artisan approach that encourages people to visit the town ,” says Alex . “ Community is embedded in our ethos and it was our desire to make tangible relationships with our customers so they could understand our products and return whenever they want to .” Alex is a softly spoken and wonderfully enigmatic individual with a unique creativity that has led him to where he is today . Not only has Alex co-founded Pelegrims , his shop FORAS stocks his own perfume blends which are rich , intoxicating and natural , and have an immensely luxurious smell .
