Doddington Place Gardens in Sittingbourne have teamed up with children ’ s charity Demelza House . On Friday 15th April from 10am until 3pm , children will be able to take part in an Easter egg hunt around the beautiful gardens and grounds to help Cottontail bunny find his friends ! Tickets for children cost just £ 5 with a prize included . Accompanying adults can enjoy the lovely landscaped gardens , recognised as being of historical importance by English Heritage and set in the grounds of an imposing Victorian mansion covering 10 acres .

Brogdale Collections have opened their beautiful orchards to families over the Easter weekend where they can explore wondrous surroundings and hunt down Easter eggs hidden among the blossoming fruit trees . Follow the trail map to find all the Easter Eggs and solve the hidden word quiz . Look out for the Easter Bunny , who will be hopping around the orchards waiting to say hello . April is a stunning time of year in Brogdale ’ s orchards when thousands of fruit trees will be bursting with blossom and the farm and wildlife garden will be full of birds , insects and nature . The Easter egg trail will take place from 15th to 17th April and arrival times and tickets must be booked in advance . Before you leave , enjoy the Brogdale Farm gift shop and fruit nursery as well as scrumptious cakes and hot food in the café .

Enjoy a day of Easter fun , magic and discovery as you spot the first signs of spring and experience nature at the enchanting Smallhythe Place . The carpet of daffodils and bluebells surrounding Smallhythe Place will provide a stunning colourful backdrop to their Family Easter Egg Trail taking place across the Easter weekend . On your quest around the garden discover spring bulbs surfacing by the ponds and the pale pink and white apple blossom sprinkling the orchard floors . Pick up your adventure pack and discover the scents of spring , leap like a lamb and feel the textures of nature along with many more exciting activities . Once the trail is complete you will be rewarded with a delicious chocolate treat from the start point . Running from 2nd April to 18th April , from 10am to 4.15pm , the trail costs £ 3 per person plus normal admission . You do not need to book .

Explore the site to hunt for clues and challenges , and discover traditional Easter games like egg rolling and the eggand-spoon race . Track down the Easter eggs and you ’ ll be rewarded with a chocolate treat and an adventurer ’ s certificate . All this from the ancient grounds of the magnificent Dover Castle , from which you can learn all about it ’ s exciting medieval history and more . The quest costs just £ 1.50 , which you can pay when you arrive in addition to the normal ticket price . You can take on the quest every day of the school holidays .
