" Benchmark Brewery is a small micro-brewery located on the Kent border . We produce a range of traditional-style ales using local ingredients and water from our own borehole . You could say our unique selling point is the fact I am a female brewer ; although it ’ s a family-owned business , I undertake everything at the brewery from brewing and packaging the beer to deliveries and events . I think it takes some people by surprise . It is a lot of manual work but getting great feedback from my customers makes it all worthwhile ."
