A one-day workshop , held in the breath-taking orangery , introducing you to the art of silk screen printing . You ’ ll learn the principles of screen printing and experiment with shape , texture and colour . The morning session begins with a tour of the gardens and outside spaces with head gardener , Graeme , to gather inspiration for your prints . Back in the orangery you ’ ll work your sketches up into a design for your canvas tote bag and use shades inspired by the season to build up your print with layers of colour . Your tutor will provide you with the skills and share supplier information with you to carry on printing at home .
