March is perhaps my most favourite month and issue of the year .
Not only does it start strong with birthday celebrations across the team – including a happy big 4-0 for publishing director and ceo Adam – it is also the month of celebrating everything from pies to sleep and of course women everywhere ; and that ’ s not forgetting the start of brighter Spring days ahead – hurrah !
In support of International Women ’ s Day , this month ( and indeed every month !) we will be : celebrating women ' s achievement , raising awareness against bias and taking action for equality .
insideKENT is proud to be leading the way with an issue underpinned by the women leading Kent ’ s business and creative worlds , as well as focusing on the women who started it all and support us like no other : our mums , like-a-mums , work mums and strong mum pals .

I am absolutely thrilled and delighted to be a finalist , amongst such good company , in two categories this year , including Creative Business of the Year , and will be proudly representing our own female-forward team ' s hard work and success at the awards ceremony on the 11th March – congratulations to all the nominees and good luck to the finalists !
March is also the month we celebrate something else important – sleep ! In honour of national bed month we bring you this year ’ s top bedroom decor trends on p101 and the top products to aid a blissful slumber on p98 .
And if that were not enough , March is also our first education special of the year .
