While it seems a little presumptuous to even write these words as we head into another possible winter of discontent ( anyone else get sidetracked on a regular basis wondering just wth is even going on anymore ?), I ’ m saying it anyway . Loudly and proudly … and rightly so !
For a new year heralds many things , but most of all , new opportunity and new beginnings .
This year however , instead of a focusing on resolutions , resets , and refocus , here at iKHQ we are instead imploring you to start your own year of discovery , underpinned with a new set of three Rs – Rejuvenation , Reinvigoration and Resilience .

I ’ m off to brew a cuppa , which for those who know me ( or have read our feature all about Kent ’ s incredible tea co . Mr . Ames on p82 ) are words I never thought I ’ d utter ! So it ' s a Mr . Ames fudge tea in hand for me and a gentle reminder to look after each other as we start another uncertain year ahead . Stay supporting local , stand up for the little guys and importantly try to put yourself first .
