Returning to Bluewater for Christmas 2021 the outdoor , undercover Ice Rink , located outside The Village , will sit under a clear roof , making it the perfect activity come rain , snow , or shine this festive season .
Offering plenty of fun for guests of all ages , the rink will be running quiet sessions , as well as parent and toddler sessions for budding skaters . Penguin and seal skating aids will be available for little ones , as well as bob skates to help guests stay steady on the ice .
The ice rink ’ s party nights are back by popular demand this year , with live DJs playing classic party anthems to soundtrack your skating session .

Winterland , the magical outdoor festive event with winter-themed funfair rides , games and attractions has returned to Bluewater this Christmas .
With the luminaire promenade lighting the way to the festive fun ( and providing an Instagrammable backdrop for guests !) expect white-knuckle rides , including the 40m Blizzard and No Limit , along with family favourites the bumper cars and waltzers ; and fight the winter chill with a hot mulled wine or winter spiced cider , whilst children can enjoy a deluxe hot chocolate . There will also be a great range of food on offer including a traditional German swing grill , as well as sweet treats such as crêpes and churros .

For the 11th successive year , the hugely popular Skate TW is returning to Calverley Grounds in Tunbridge Wells . Open seven days a week ( apart from Christmas Day ) this gorgeous ice rink offers a chance for families , friends and loved ones to glide across the ice and experience one of the best loved , classically festive activities . The outdoor ice rink is situated within the stunning Calverley Grounds and offers spectacular views of the beautifully lit park , creating a unique and special Christmas experience for families of all ages . Skate TW has two ice rinks , the smaller one being dedicated to parents and toddlers during the day and is transformed into a Bavarian curling rink at night . Experience the Polar Bar ’ s highly sought after homemade mulled wine and local beers , and for the first year , local coffee shop Fine Grind . Father Christmas will be making his annual appearance as will the eatery vans selling doughnuts , crepes and Brätwurst .
