Glow Illuminations is an immersive , Christmas night-light trail that illuminates the trees and parkland at Cobtree Manor Park , resulting in nights full of joy and wonder . The Christmas Goblin is a musical adventure of irresistible songs , banging Christmas glitter ball costumes and heartfelt festive cheer by acclaimed gig theatre makers Brigitte Aphrodite & Quiet Boy . 11 year old ‘ Daphne ’ embarks on an other-worldly musical tale when her magical Yaya ( Grandma ) in Athens tells her of the ancient Greek myth of ‘ Kallikantzaroi ’ ( The Christmas Goblin ) causing Daphne to accidentally unleash these fabulously mischievous , grotesque creatures on the streets of a snow covered Canterbury . Goblins are mean , nasty , brussel sprout smelling , untrustworthy thing . Or are they ?

Much A Do Events are teaming up with Bindlestick Theatre Company at Pympes Court Farm , Maidstone to create a magical day of excitement for children in the lead up to Christmas . Children are invited to meet the enchanting Sparkles the Elf and join her on her quest to save Christmas and help Santa who has lost some of his elves and desperately needs to find some more helpers before Christmas Eve . With 45 minutes of interactive storytelling that includes making Christmas crafts , gifts and decorations , or decorating your own Christmas cookie , this is ideal for children aged 4 and over and includes a Christmas gift to take home .
