Alongside 89 guest rooms and 11 suites , the hotel boasts 10 residences offering the most sophisticated home-from-home , and then some . Ranging in size from one to four-bedroom abodes , the individuallydesigned residences offer open-concept living and dining areas , fully-equipped kitchens with Gaggenau appliances , stunning marble bathrooms , and spectacular views of the city , some from their own private terraces .
The first step across the threshold of our own twobedroomed residence was one of jaw-dropping , awestruck wonder .
Contemporary artworks , gorgeous decor , sumptuous bedrooms , glorious bathrooms , and that incredible kitchen , it ’ s the type of room you check into and never want to leave ...
Those checking in with children , for which the residences are utterly perfect for , brings an added air of magic .
Personalised chocolate lollipops and sweet treats , courtesy of the expert pastry team , lay waiting to be devoured on the dining table . Children ’ s robes , slippers and mini toiletries are laid neatly on the bed . Time to splash in the frankly spectacular swimming pool is easily booked ; you can ask for floats , toys and goggles at reception . There are board games , books and games consoles available to keep younger guests entertained , while the concierge team can helpfully arrange anything from Riverboat Tours to private experiences at The Tower of London .
Families that stay on Friday , Saturday or Sunday nights can enjoy complimentary children ’ s in-room dining or delight in the children ’ s menu at Rotunda , at which children aged up to 12 can eat for free .
Situated at the heart of the hotel , under the beautiful domed ceiling , surrounded by friezes depicting the four seasons , sits the Rotunda Lounge . Offering all day dining , the dinner menu offers a host of classic Four Seasons favourites which can be enjoyed against a backdrop of jazz from the resident pianist .
Amongst starters such as cucumber gazpacho and radicchio salad , the caesar salad is a firm favourite ; add the fresh grilled chicken for a classic take or mix it up with crispy halloumi , as we did , for an extra tasty twist .
Mains come either in the form of ‘ sandwiches ’, which boasts the revered Trinity Club alongside a dry-aged beef burger ; ‘ mains ’ boasting comforting classics such as fish and chips , cottage pie and Dover sole meunière ; or from my personal favourite section , the ‘ grill ’. Here , you ’ ll find a selection of cuts such as côte de boeuf , fillet and sirloin on the bone , all grilled to charred perfection , with a choice of sauce and side – the beef jus was divine as were the crisp , salty French fries .
For those who have room , desserts offer a tempting selection including chilled limoncello soufflé and a moorish chocolate tart with hojicha infused ganache and fresh apricot sorbet .
Whilst we indulged , the kids were spoilt for choice too ; grilled chicken , fresh pasta and steak make an appearance on the kid-friendly menu . The production of a giant packet of M & Ms from the waiting team made the night for the littlest Readys who were soon
sated and ready to take full advantage of their king size bed and plump pillows .
From the moment you arrive at Ten Trinity Square the stay is faultless with seemingly effortless and utterly enthusiastic service , nothing is too much trouble and every detail is taken care of . Ideal for work , play and rest , it ' s the London retreat that combines British sophistication and ultimate comfort – and deserves to be top of your luxury London staycation list .
