THE SNUG
What is your brand story ?
The Snug was born in lockdown and is a passion project for everyone who works here . We want to bring fun and unique interiors into people ' s homes and allow them to express their personality and style through their homes !
Where did your inspiration come from ?
We find inspiration everywhere ; we love seeing the amazing colours that nature can produce and turning it into a work of art or taking those colours and putting them on a cushion ! We have a great passion for art and local artists in our stores and we love working alongside them to get their amazing pieces into our galleries .
Tell us about your space ?
We have two shops , one in Tenterden and one in Ashford - Elwick Place . Ashford just recently opened in July and , so far , it has been amazing getting to know everyone in the area and telling them about who we are and what we do . We have homewares ranging from large oil paintings to miniature ceramic trinkets so we have something for everyone !
What is your favourite product and why ?
We love our fluro candles ! They are fun and a definite customer favourite , they brighten up your home in a simple and elegant way but they really bring something special to any room . We can ' t help but mention our smoking Queen embroideries , of all our artwork they are our favourite talking point for new customers and they really are a unique and fun find ! There ' s nothing else quite like them ...
Do you have anything exciting coming up ?
Every day at The Snug is something new and exciting so we hope to continue in that way going forwards , we always have new products launching and exciting competitions happening on our Instagram (@ thesnugsters ). But we are planning on opening a third store in Rye in the near future , so keep an eye out on our socials and newsletter to be in the know because it ' s going to be a really special store !
