Give ‘ em Pumpkin ’ to talk about this October Half Term , and join Ashten the Pumpkin on his craftfilled workshops across Ashford and Tenterden .
Everyone is invited to take part and join Ashten ; the Halloween mascot designed by local illustrator Tiny Beegle , on his craft-filled adventure days during the October half Term .
To secure your place , all you have to do is ; head over to the websites , select the time and date that suits you and book your time slot . The workshops will run from 10am to 3pm , on the 25th & 27th in Ashford and 26th and 28th in Tenterden . Get crafty and make your way round the activity table ; create your very own Ashten pumpkin , spider and colouring masterpiece . Participants will even have the opportunity to submit their works , for a chance to win a fantastic bundle of prizes for all the family ; including tickets , vouchers and goodies . They ’ ll also have the opportunity to showcase their artwork at the Ashten the Pumpkin exhibition , a gallery space for people to come and view the fantastic work !

Step outside this autumn and join Wild Classroom where you and your family will be able to cook over fire using fresh ingredients from Belmont ’ s kitchen garden . View the garden , collect your ingredients and meet the team responsible for growing them , before moving to the outdoor cooking area where each family will have their own table and tools to prepare food to cook over fire using a range of techniques . Typical sessions include the opportunity to cook and enjoy 3-4 different dishes mostly using very local and seasonal produce , tummies will be full ! Once the session is complete you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful setting at Belmont .
All attendees must complete a health questionnaire before attending this event . Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times .

Before learning how to ferment your freshly pressed apple juice at home to make your own perfect cider .
You will need sensible clothing and a pen / pad for note taking . You may also bring your own apples from your apple tree or orchard at home .
