NEW ART INSTALLATION AT ASHFORD ’ S DESIGNER OUTLET
Visitors to the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford will now be greeted by an art installation inspired by the local area and history .
The mural design , created by local artist Lionel Stanhope , has been inspired by old London Network Rail signs whilst capturing the beauty of the flowers of the Kentish countryside and is a warm welcome to centre guests after a year of ongoing lockdown restrictions . The piece also takes reference from the centre ’ s living wall installation which includes 120,000 plants to aid local biodiversity , as well as the tented design of the outlet by acclaimed architect Richard Rogers , whislt also offers shoppers and diners the perfect photo ‘ selfie ’ opportunity .
HRVY ANNOUNCED AS SPECIAL GUEST FOR OLLY MURS HOP FARM PERFORMANCE
Olly Murs has announced that HRVY will join him as special guest for his summer show on Saturday 18 September , the first of two weekend performances which will also see Sir Tom Jones take to the stage on the Sunday , at The Hop Farm .
At only 22 years old , with a notable online social following which spans the world and new music just released including new single ' 1 Day 2 Nights ', HRVY who has over 800 million Spotify streams , has been working tirelessly to build a global name for himself . Having spent many years touring the world and building a fanbase , he ' s also been collaborating with international stars such as Jonas Blue and NCT Dream as well as playing huge stages such as Capital Summertime Ball twice , Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball and BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend . Last year , HRVY enjoyed an incredibly successful stint on the UK ’ s biggest TV show , “ Strictly Come Dancing ”, which saw him and his partner Janette Manrara become finalists , after breaking several show records together throughout their tenure .
HRVY , a former student at the Leigh Academy in Rochester said : “ I ’ m buzzing to have announced I ’ ll be joining Olly Murs in Kent this summer .
