Fossil Hunting Around Kent
Fossil-hunting with the children was one of iKHQ ’ s lockdown ’ s upsides , as strapped for something to do with them , we had to get imaginative and to our surprise , even the adults really enjoyed doing this . There are a number of sites around Kent , but we chose to visit The Warren in Folkestone where you can walk along the striking coastline of the white cliffs . We came home with bags full of colourful sea glass , cretaceous fossils and even made friends with some budding fossil hunters that looked more akin to a group of models .
