This year , we finally get to celebrate the 149th Open , returning to Kent ’ s Royal St George ’ s in Sandwich for the first time since 2011 . Between 11 - 18 July 2021 , the postponed 2020 Open , will see golfers from across the world compete for the ultimate golf champion trophy , The Claret Jug .
Set in 450 acres of dune land , the famous Royal St George ’ s borders Pegwell Bay . Renowned for its fast greens and challenging fairways , even the most experienced of golfers have to work hard – it ’ s obvious why the big time players are eager to play here .

Originally built on the 500 acre Leeds Castle Estate in 1931 by Sir Guy Campbell , the par 34 , 2,843 yard course is definitely one to try . A reasonably new irrigation system , bunker landscaping and tee relay contributes to this course looking great all year round .

The 18 hole parkland course at Broome Park is a brilliant test for all golfers of all ages and abilities . Originally opened in 1891 , the course designed by Donald Steel offers a Standard Scratch of 72 , par 72 and 6587 yards off the White Championship Tees .
