Not only that , exercising helps increase blood circulation to the face , red blood cells carry oxygen and nutrients – keep active and you ’ ll keep the drying effects of winter at bay !
Practice meditation Mindfulness has become an increasingly popular subject , some might say just another ‘ health craze ’, but research has in fact found that practising mindfulness can help to reduce signs of depression . There ’ s plenty of tutorials online on how to ‘ get in the zone ’, as well as a host of relaxing blends and pressure point oils too , but master it and you ’ ll feel like you ’ ve really got your shizz together .
Set the mood Why not go that little bit extra and light a few candles ? Burning candles can increase your focus , improve your mood and alleviate stress , throw in a bit of lavender or eucalyptus and you ’ ll be floating on a sweet-smelling cloud with not a worry in the world .

Vitamin D and light exposure is vital in helping our bodies fight infection and is great for promoting mental health and stress reduction . We need light to function , so get outside , step away from your desk , go feel the earth beneath your feet , breath in the fresh air and absorb all of nature ’ s goodness and you ’ ll be left feeling amazing !
