To help solve this dilemma , Rochester Independent College , a co-educational day and boarding school in Kent , has come up with an innovative virtual open evening for students to find out more about RIC . Taking place from 6-8pm on Tuesday 19 January 2021 , students and parents alike can meet the teachers , hear more about the 40 + subjects taught at A level and discover how school can be different , all via Zoom . There ’ s no uniform , students are on first name terms with teachers , no bells ring , there ’ s no assembly and classes sizes are an average of 8 .
