TUNBRIDGE WELLS LAW FIRM EXPANDS
Independent family-run Kent businesses The Kentish Soap Company and Shepherd Neame have teamed up to create a new 100 % natural Kentish Beer Soap .
The new Beer Soap combines Shepherd Neame ’ s award-winning Bishops Finger Kentish Strong Ale – which uses 100 % natural ingredients including Kentish hops and barley and chalk-filtered mineral water drawn from deep beneath the brewery – with The Kentish Soap Company ’ s unique blend of oils and butters , chosen for their skinnurturing properties . The result is a soap which offers a nourishing creamy lather while boasting a refreshing , mild hoppy scent .
John Waddy , co-owner of The Kentish Soap Company , said : “ Beer has been used in soap for many years , as hops are known to soothe irritated skin . Beer also contains vitamin B and other essential vitamins which further nourish the skin and creates a wonderfully creamy lather in soap .”
It is available to purchase online at www . kentishsoap . com or from Shepherd Neame ’ s brewery shop in Faversham .
Having added new team members this year into property litigation , corporate and commercial , employment and family law , Tunbridge Wells-based law firm , CooperBurnett , has further recruited into both its commercial property and residential property teams .
Experienced commercial property lawyer Alexandra Burnaby has joined in the role of senior associate and conveyancing executive Emma Howse has joined the well regarded and busy residential property department .
“ CooperBurnett is a fantastic firm that I have come across in the past and I have always been impressed with the dedication they show to their clients ,” says Alexandra . While taking up a new job during a pandemic could have its challenges , Emma says that it ’ s helped that she already knows most of the CooperBurnett residential property team , having worked in the sector locally for five years .
“ People are surprised to hear that we are recruiting at this time but many of our practice areas are currently extremely busy ,” says Joseph Oates , partner and head of contentious services . “ As we head towards our 40th anniversary next year , we are dedicated to continuing to invest in our team .”
