FOR OVER 50 YEARS , OUR ESTABLISHED , FAMILY-RUN FARM BUSINESS HAS BEEN GROWING AND SELLING A WIDE SELECTION OF PREMIUM GRADE , FRESH BRITISH TREES ; SUCH AS THE TRADITIONAL NORWAY SPRUCE AND THE NON-DROP VARIETY NORDMAN FIR , FROM 2FT TO 20FT IN SIZE - AND WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU CHOOSE YOUR PERFECT TREE .
We offer a ‘ choose and cut ’ service , which runs on weekends only , where you are taken one family or bubble at a time by tractor and trailer into the plantation to choose your own tree which is then cut and wrapped for you to take home . You can also speak to our knowledgeable staff by the main tree pens , who are on hand to help you choose your perfect tree and how to care for it .
Each tree needs at least a pint of water daily to help it stay fresh and we recommend sawing an inch off the trunk and standing the tree outside in a bucket of water until bringing it indoors to decorate , avoid placing it near heat sources such as radiators in order to not dry the tree out . We have a great choice of watertight pots and stands for sale to suit every taste , and again our tree experts will advise you on the best one for your tree .
Our large Christmas shop sells everything you will need to decorate your tree and home , such as lights ( indoor and outdoor ), baubles , ornaments , gifts , candles , tableware , cards , wrapping paper , stockings , and fresh handmade wreaths , swags and mistletoe ! And if all that makes you hungry and thirsty then re-fuel in our rustic café where you can order hot food and drinks to either eat in * or take-away .
We also have on site an enchanting , family friendly Santa ’ s Grotto ** and Christmas walkway and each child will receive a quality gift and get to meet the man himself as well as his elf helpers !
