Following the reopening of the theatre in September , the team at the EM Forster Theatre have been delighted to welcome audiences back into the auditorium .

The Westgate Hall team were thrilled to reopen the Hall ’ s doors to their friends and communities across Canterbury and its districts with their popular monthly market in September . Westgate Hall is a venue for everyone , where village meets city in a distinctive , adaptable community space full of heritage and heart , located in Canterbury ’ s vibrant centre . From celebrations and concerts , fairs and festivals , to conferences , meetings , group classes , and weddings , the space can be shaped for your plans , budget and enjoyment .
Westgate Hall CEO Clare Millett says : “ We ’ re so looking forward to welcoming visitors back to Westgate Hall . The last few months have been unprecedented for every person , community venue and business across Canterbury and its districts . Getting back to business as safely as possibly is crucial for all of us . Right now , we ’ re determined to be the same trusted and safe community venue we were before closing the Hall ’ s doors in March . We ’ re proud to be able to reawaken our city ’ s largest neutral event space and show how we have reimagined our venue so it can present diverse events , meetings and activities while respecting social distancing and taking every measure to minimise risks to health . Making sure everyone can enjoy themselves safely lies at the heart of what we ’ re doing and offering .”
