Restaurant offers delicious meals served in a
relaxed atmosphere, enjoyed with spectacular
views across the terrace to the magnificent
Castle. During the day, take time out from
exploring the Castle and grounds to enjoy
a light lunch or delicious homemade meal
from our seasonal menu. Choose from hot or
cold dishes, bursting with flavour and variety
or indulge in a choice of cakes and desserts,
produced by our dedicated pastry team. A valid
admission ticket is required to visit during
opening hours.
From 6.30pm the menu changes and the
restaurant takes on a more intimate look and
feel. Tables can be reserved for dinner offering
unrivalled views of the Castle lit at night and the
menu features daily specials, which showcase
the Head Chef’s creativity and flair. We only
use the finest local and seasonal ingredients at
Castle View Restaurant. Parking is free and an
entrance ticket to Leeds Castle is not required to
dine in the evening. We can cater for all dietary
requirements, please advise your waiter when
seated if you have a special request.
HISTORIC SETTING
Leeds Castle has been a Norman stronghold,
the private property of six of England’s medieval
queens, a palace used by Henry VIII and
Catherine of Aragon, a Jacobean country house,
a Georgian mansion and an elegant early 20th
Century retreat. Today it is one of England’s most
visited castles and one of Kent’s largest tourist
attractions offering children’s playgrounds, a
maze, falconry, punting, the world famous Dog
Collar Collection and much more.
