We’d sit in our cosy attic flat on Mount Sion,
discussing the indulgent food we would serve.
The picture-perfect beverages. The décor.
The music, and how we wouldn’t want
anything run of the mill, but something that
wowed people the moment they stepped
through the door.
Well, I am proud to say that this October
our vision became a reality. After months of
hard work, we opened Delaney’s and became
part of the thriving Tunbridge Wells foodie
community.
Delaney’s comes from our love of family and
togetherness. That means creating a place for
families and friends to escape and spend real
quality time together. We encourage this
through everything we offer. Firstly, that’s tasty
food and drink for our customers to have a
chinwag over. Then there’s classic games to
delight the little (and big) kids – from Scrabble
to Cluedo and everything in between. At
Delaney’s we get to know our customers and
make them feel welcome. We ask how their
day is going and recommend local places to
experience. Returning customers are always
greeted with a familiar smile.

Delaney’s even more family-friendly. It allows
enough space for 7 buggies in the restaurant,
with plenty of room to spare.
At Delaney’s, we also have a great bar –
with a long drinks menu to keep the adults
happy. From fun cocktails you have and
haven’t heard of, to our variety of tipsyshakes.
There’s something for everyone. Our bar is
ideal for chats, giggles and drinks going late
into the evening.
Come to 12-14 Camden Road and experience
the fun, unique atmosphere for yourself.
Although the overall décor and atmosphere
is a one-off, the main reason people return is
for our food! Sweet or savoury. From the
Pineapple and Mango American Stack with
White Chocolate Sauce to the Confit Duck
Waffle with Pickled Red Onion and Truffle
Honey, there is something to suit all tastes
and occasions. Our evolving menu will keep
you coming back to try a different dish each
time. We also cater for gluten intolerances and
vegans too, so there’s no excuse not to come
and say hello.
We hope you to see you at Delaney’s soon.
Some of our favourite customers are of the
smaller variety. It fills us with joy to watch their
faces light up among the colourful walls and
furniture, looking up at Buster, our beloved
mascot (the giant dog statue watching over
the restaurant) and the toy car flying through
our bar wall. Then there’s ‘Buggy Avenue’ –
