North Kent Colleges Group brings together four unique colleges in Dartford, Gravesend, Hadlow and Tonbridge, offering high-quality education, specialist facilities and strong links with local employers- all close to home.
Each college has its own character and strengths, giving students the opportunity to find the environment that best matches their interests and ambitions.
At NKC Dartford College, creativity and performance are at the heart of campus life, with students developing their talents at the acclaimed Miskin Theatre, creative arts facilities and on-site radio station. NKC Gravesend College is one of just 10 specialist Technical Excellence Colleges for construction in the UK. The college offers a truly industryfocused learning experience, with specialist facilities including the National Maritime Training Centre, professional construction and engineering workshops, and realistic working environments designed to prepare students for successful careers.
For students inspired by the natural world, NKC Hadlow College offers an educational experience unlike any other in Kent. Set within 265 acres of working countryside, it provides hands-on learning across commercial farms, equine facilities, horticulture, fisheries and animal management. Students gain experience in real working environments, including caring for hundreds of animals.
At NKC Tonbridge College, students benefit from outstanding facilities in the heart of the town, including The View, its commercial training restaurant, which gives catering and hospitality students experience working with real customers. Health and Social Care students train using realistic ambulance simulation facilities, helping them develop the confidence and practical skills needed for vital roles in the community.
Across all four colleges, learning goes beyond the classroom. Industryexperienced tutors, employer partnerships and work experience opportunities help students build the technical skills, confidence and professional behaviours that employers are looking for.
