A SUMMER OF FAMILY FUN AT BRANDS HATCH!
Brands Hatch has plenty of fun in store for families this summer including a family festival dedicated to Italy’ s passionate automotive heritage and a day devoted to Britain’ s favourite small car. Tickets for all events at the Kent circuit are available at discounted advance prices with free entry for under-13s.
Festival Italia brings a celebration of one of the planet’ s most enthusiastic motoring nations to Kent on Sunday 9 August. Blending a packed schedule of Italian motor racing with exotic car displays, live music and sumptuous food and drink, the fixture acts as an elegant, relaxed day out at the track for automotive fans and families.
With a wide range of additional themed attractions, this full-throttle Italianflavoured party will be much more than a race event. In addition to a curated competitive programme, there will be F1 demonstrations, car displays shining a light on Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lamborghini and more, plus a free spectator grid walk.
Visitors can also enjoy live cooking demonstrations in The Italian Kitchen and browse the Festival Italia Food Market.
Less Italian, but more Italian Job, the ever-popular Mini Festival will welcome hundreds of classic and modern examples of the compact icon to Brands Hatch on Sunday 23 August. A full day of Mini racing is planned, with a full lineup including action from the Mini Se7ens, Mini Miglias and Pre-66 Minis plus much more. The returning Fastest Mini in the World race will also add a dose of highpowered adrenaline too.
Off the circuit, the Mini Festival does exactly what it says on the tin, with enthusiastic car owners from the South East and beyond bringing the atmosphere. The full displays will encompass both car club groups and individuals, with many swapping stories and sharing their love for the diminutive icon of the road. Many of them will then take to the track for a parade at the end of the day, bringing things to a close.
Both events will also feature trade stands, free-to-enjoy attractions and spectator grid walks, allowing visitors to soak things up and enjoy the pre-race atmosphere.
Tickets are available now at discounted advance prices, with further reductions available for 13-15-year-olds and free admission for under-13s. This makes it a great value choice for a family of petrolheads looking for a fun summer day out.
